Substitute Teachers
Substitute teaching staff needed. We will train you to be a paid substitute for our program. You will work with 3 to 5 year old children in a classroom setting. RCS pays $7.25hr for substitutes. Must be a high school graduate or have a GED. You will need a current TB test result and a local criminal history check from your local Clerk of Court from the county in which you live. You will also need a fingerprint card from your local sheriff's department and a physical completed by a physician. Begin as a substitute and Head Start may be able to offer you education and training to qualify for a regular position with Head Start or with other childcare providers.
